Bouman is Jaguars’ starting QB, Edwards the backup

The Jaguars officially announced that Todd Bouman will be their starting QB against the Chiefs with starter David Garrard sidelined by a concussion.

Trent Edwards, who has an injured thumb on his throwing hand, will be Bouman’s backup. Recently signed Patrick Ramsey is the No. 3 QB.

Bouman, who has been on and off the Jaguars’ roster since 2007, will make his first NFL start since 2005 with the Saints. He has six starts in an NFL career that began in 1997 with the Vikings.
