In 2009, Ray Rice emerged as one of the better running backs in fantasy football. That was then, and this is now.
Th Rutgers product has had a disappointing season to this point, and this week’s game against the Bills has to have owners frustrated. Not only is he sharing carries with Willis McGahee, but Rice is still losing goal-line work.
In fact, McGahee just scored on a 2-yard run — he also has more fantasy points than Rice. What makes this situation even more confusing is that McGahee didn’t see a single carry last week against the Patriots.
You have to continue to start Rice, but he’s clearly not the same back he was a year ago.
